Lighthouse Announces New Members of Beacon for Youth Foundation Board
Lighthouse Youth & Family Services is pleased to announce the newest members of its Beacon for Youth Foundation Board. They include Barry Morris, Tom Schiller, and Elizabeth “Libby” Simmons Callan. The Beacon for Youth Foundation oversees Lighthouse fundraising and manages the Foundation’s assets.
About the New Beacon for Youth Foundation Board Members
Barry Morris is the founder and president of the Barry Morris Consulting Group. He holds a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Ohio State University. He volunteers as a consultant to community development initiatives and has served on several boards, rising to chair of two and presidential appointee to a third.
Tom Schiller is an assurance manager in the Cincinnati office of Plante Moran. He has more than 11 years of experience auditing financial statements for companies in the construction, manufacturing, and healthcare industries. He is also an experienced employee benefit plan auditor. Schiller is a graduate of Ohio Northern University. He obtained his Master of Business Administration from Northern Kentucky University and is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Kentucky.
Elizabeth “Libby” Simmons Callan is a Principal in the Cincinnati office of Jackson Lewis P.C. She concentrates her practice on management side employment litigation. Outside of her practice, Ms. Simmons Callan is involved with organizations that focus on the welfare of youth in Cincinnati, including Lighthouse Youth & Family Services and the YWCA. She received her B.A. from the University of Cincinnati and her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law.
